Completely renovated and lovingly refurnished in 2023, "Villa Melina" is located on the southwest side of Florida on the Gulf of Mexico in Cape Coral. In the middle of the Yacht Club Area on the Wisteria Canal and thus in the immediate vicinity of the Caloosahatchee River. The quiet residential area is one of the absolute best locations in Cape Coral.
The spacious property, surrounded by tropical plants and palm trees and with direct access to the water, will immediately put you in the vacation mood you've been longing for.
The house is located in a quiet side street with no through traffic, but still has excellent accessibility!
The best shopping facilities, restaurants and the legendary "Boathouse", the TikiHut Bar and Ford's Garage, where you can enjoy the best burgers in town in a great atmosphere, are all within walking distance.
The 180 square meter living space, completely air-conditioned and newly furnished, offers space for up to 6 people.
It has 3 bedrooms with two (!) king-size and two twin beds. Two bathrooms with WC, one of which has direct access to the pool area. A spacious living room with a comfortable sofa, 55″ LCD TV and pool access. The separate dining area with large table, flat screen TV and pool access is directly adjacent to the fully equipped American kitchen. Oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge with ice cube maker, coffee machine, toaster and the "German egg stove", as well as sufficient cutlery and crockery are all part of the equipment.
All rooms are tiled throughout and are therefore particularly suitable for allergy sufferers. For this reason, pets are not allowed in our house.
The two king-size bedrooms and the living room provide direct access to the pool area. It is generously protected by a screen so that you can enjoy the warmth of Florida on the partially covered terrace in the evening without mosquitoes. With a few juicy steaks on the in-house, four-burner gas barbecue and a few cool drinks, you can spend a few cozy barbecue hours in the evening. And for those who prefer to sit right by the water, we recommend our spacious, brand new boat dock.
The water sports fun can begin immediately with a rented boat, as the property also has its own water access to the Wisteria Canal, which leads directly into the Caloosahatchee River after a right turn. From there it goes straight to the Gulf of Mexico. For a rented boat, there is a brand new, in-house boat dock directly on the property. You can moor the rented boat there directly and set off in the morning without any detours. This has the advantage that the boat is always safely moored in its "own harbor".
The interesting thing about the good location of our house is that you don't lose any time with annoying locks or endless canal trips, but are really "out" in a few minutes by boat, on the way to the paradisiacal, white sandy beaches of the Gulf of Mexico.
You don't need a boating license in Florida - a car driver's license is completely sufficient. After a short briefing from the German-speaking boat rental company, you are already your own captain. We are happy to recommend a local boat rental company, please contact us. Then you can be absolutely sure that you will get a great, well-maintained and immaculate boat for your Florida vacation and that you will be well advised at all times.
Of course, many beaches can also be reached by car. However, exploring the endless beaches by hired boat, watching dolphins up close and finally finding a secluded spot to anchor has its own special charm.
